1) Fitness, Aerobic, Cardiovascular Endurance, Endurance, and Vo2 Max testing & conditioning

Your aerobic capacity, as measured with a VO2 max test, is the submaximal and / or maximal amount of oxygen your body can consume during submaximal and / or maximal intensity exercise. It is the product of your maximal cardiac output and your arterial-venous oxygen difference. This value is directly indicative of your level of cardiovascular and cardiorespiratory fitness.

Tests that are performed:

  1. 2.4KM / 12 Minute Cooper Test.
  2. Yoyo and / or Beep Test.
  3. Bronco Test.

This test is performed to test for Mobility, Stability, Balance, Co-ordination, and ROM/flexibility, around joints, to allow full functioning of muscle and joints during most movements in the body. It may also aid in determining imbalances in the body, and assisting in predicting risk of injuries, that maybe used for future reference, in order to better condition the athlete to decrease the risk of injury, according to these imbalances.

Tests that are performed:

  1. Overhead Squat Test.
  2. Hurdle Step Test.
  3. In Line Lunge Step / Split Squat Test.
  4. Shoulder Mobility Test.
  5. Active Straight Leg Raise Test.
  6. Trunk Stability Push Up.
  7. Rotary Stability Test.
